18th Annual JRTCC National Trial takes Paris, Ontario by storm

If you were able to join us for the Trial on the last weekend of September, you would know we had a great time, it was fun for all. Watching the terriers at play, and the sulkies working on the track along side, -- the sheer joy of it helped fight off the rain. Our passion for our little dogs awoke the curiosity of Brant News, who came to the site to film the story. Watch the clip courtesy of Brant News. If you want to see who were the top dogs, check out the Trial Results.

This year's trial was once again held at the Paris Fairgrounds, in Paris Ontario on September 26-27.

We hope you enjoyed joining us amid the colourful fall foliage as we celebrated this wonderful little dog we all know and love, the Jack Russell Terrier! Events included Conformation, Racing, Go to Ground, Agility, Super Earth, Lure Coursing, Trailing & Locating, Ball Retrieval, Puissance and – new to our National Trial this year – Barn Hunt.

We thank David Jones for returning to judge our conformation ring this year. David judged our 1st National trial in 1992 and we were extremely excited to welcome this well-respected terrierman back again in 2009.

Our amazing National Raffle was held on Saturday and once again was a great sucess!
Thank you everyone that participated to make the 2009 National Trial the sucess it was!
